Abstract :
Acute left main coronary trunk occlusion in young woman is a rare finding in coronary angiogram. The patient with acute left main coronary artery occlusion is a rare occurrence that is often fatal, and usually manifests as an acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock and/or fatal arrhythmias or sudden death. A 31-year-old female suffered from continuous chest stuffy pain for 5 hours into our hospital. Her blood pressure was 90/60mmHg. Coronary angiogram showed that complete occlusion of left main coronary artery trunk. Emergency save by PCI with double stents and crush stent technology came into effect. The acute occlusion of left main coronary trunk was rapidly opened and the blood flow was effectively recovered to TIMI3 level. Dilated left main coronary trunk had not residual stenosis and had not complications such as dissection of the blood vessel. It is effective to open the acute occlusion of the left main coronary trunk by PCI with crush stenting.
