Abstract :
In this paper, we analyzed TCP performance in UWB WPAN by establishing UWB test-bed. Impact of asymmetry between forward link and reverse link was concerned. Furthermore, we analyzed relationship between TCP throughput and reverse link bandwidth. Our study demonstrated that available resource of reverse link impacts TCP performance seriously. In addition, it was found that there is an optimal reverse bandwidth for continuous TCP service when error rate is fixed.
