  • Abstract
Statistical analysis may considerably increase the effectiveness of ECG diagnostic methods. The statistical data analysis allows: increase of the measurement accuracy by means of sampled data number increase; decrease of the external disturbances influence on the results of measurements; increase of the information content by giving the results of investigations in a convenient and clear form; the main ECG statistic characteristics calculations to be carried out; the measuring errors to be estimated; extrapolation, interpolation, and prediction methods to be used on the ECG data; and computer use for automated calculations
