Abstract :
Purposes Through BMEC of cultured rats, the author studies the influence of Hcy on NF-kB p65 and its downstream regulatory factors ICAM-1 (intercellular adhesion molecule-1) after BMEC is injured. Methods Cultured BMVECs were under the intervention of both 1mmol/L Hcy and CuSO4 (4μmol/L) for 0 h, 6 h, 12 h, 18 h respectively in order to observe expressions of NF-kB p65 and ICAM-1 at different time points. Results After BMVECs were exposed to 1mmol/L Hcy, compared with 0h, the expression of ICAM-1 began to appear at 6h. The expression increased as the time was extended, with remarkable higher expression at12h (/7<;0.05) and more much higher at18h(p<;0.01). After the Hcy with the same density interfered in the BMEC, the nuclear transfer of NF-kB p65 increased remarkably (p<;0.01) and then decreased gradually at 18h (p>;0.05). Conclusions Hcy may lead to the nuclear transfer of NF-kB and induce the expression of ICAM-1.
