Abstract
We deal with the design problem of feedback control synthesis via the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation. Making use of the emergent property of genetic programming (GP), we propose a new approach for obtaining the value functions approximately. Some numerical examples are demonstrated to illustrate the practicability of our control design method
