Abstract :
Studies on anti-oxidation effects of alcohol extract of Juglans Mandshurica leaves (AEJL) on mice with irradiation injury induced by X-ray was evaluated. The Multi-Dimentional Analysis (MDA) contents and the superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities in liver were measured in four groups including normal control group, irradiating control group, low dose of AEJL group and high dose of AEJL group. Compared with the irradiating control group, MDA contents of the low dose of AEJL group and high dose of AEJL group decreased significantly (P<;0.05); SOD activities was increased significantly (P<;0.05) both in the low dose and high dose of AEJL. AEJL has anti-oxidation effects on mice with irradiation damage induced by X-rays.
