Abstract
Networked control systems (NCS) have gained an increasing attention in recent years due to ease of scalability and cost reduction in their maintenance. Fault detection and fault tolerant control are two new research areas in this field. In this respect, control reconfiguration is considered. In this paper, a reconfigurator block for the fault condition is proposed and it is proved that this block provides complete reconfiguration within the proposed architecture. Also, it is shown that using this scheme and without any further modification to the controller, the performance of the overall system will be equivalent to fault-free system when subjected to the actuator failure. Simulation results show acceptable performance for the proposed reconfiguration scheme.
