Abstract :
Super mechano-system is the grand-in-aid for COE research project sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Sciences, Sports and Culture with the aim of creating a new mechanical systems which can self-organize its structure and functions adapting to the varying environment. The system has not only hyper-redundancy with autonomous intelligence but also has the cyber mechanism and achieves efficient and high speed movement based on the fusion of control and mechanisms.
