Abstract :
There are few modern spectrum analysis systems available on the literature for mechanical fault diagnosis. In this paper we develop a modern spectrum analysis system to identification fault characteristic from vibration signal of complex mechanical systems. The system is tested on several typically examples in engineering. It is shown that the presented system can be performance well in actual engineering structures and may also be applied to the signal processing in electronic or communication systems.
