Abstract :
Linear permanent magnet brushless DC motor is a new type machine whose rotor is straight and broken. And the end force is produced by this special structure. Its key problems were paid more attention to the thrust ripple caused by end effect. This paper analyzed the influencing factor of end effect using Maxwell method, optimized the structure of the rotor and built model of simulation. The end effect was improved, and the accuracy of optimized structure was enhanced.
