Abstract
A novel biosensor based on immobilized creatininase, creatinase and urease as sensitive elements at the 6-8 pH and 37.0°C; using ISFETs operating in weak inversion is proposed. Results demonstrate linear characteristics of the urea and creatinine at the range of 0-200 mM and 0-2000 μM with the sensor´s power consumption in the nanoamp region. Such characteristics fit the analytical requirements to improving real time peritoneal dialysis (PD).
