Abstract :
In the spectral analysis of mass spectrometry data, we face the problem of transforming very long time domain FTMS (Fourier transform mass spectrometer) data into the frequency domain of mass spectrum data. It possesses a problem of determining various fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithms to be incorporated into the mass spectrometry analysis. In this research, various sequential FFT algorithms were investigated and it was concluded that a composite prime radix FFT was most suitable for the FTMS data analysis.
