Abstract :
The mixed H2/H∞ robust control problem for uncertain linear systems with norm-bounded time-varying uncertainties is considered. A quadratic guaranteed cost control is developed. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of the problem are given in terms of a pair of cross-coupled Riccati equations. The results presented in the paper extend earlier results on quadratic stability using one criterion to the case of the mixed criteria
