Abstract :
This paper investigates the motion in the air of an axisymmetric rotating controlled flight vehicle. Effects such as Magnus effect, nonstationary nature of the air flow around the vehicle, changes in the velocity of the center of mass and the angular velocity of roll, are investigated. The information on possible changes of the velocity of the center of mass and the angular velocity of roll is incomplete: only bounds on variation of these parameters are known. The problem of ensuring regularity of flight of the vehicle is addressed. This means sufficiently close matching during the flight of the vector of velocity of the center of mass of the vehicle with its axis of symmetry. To solve this problem, we build a mathematical model in the form of a system of differential equations with nonstationary coefficients and incomplete information on the parameters. Algebraic sufficient conditions for the system´s absolute stability which guarantee the flight regularity of the vehicle are obtained. An improved inner method is used which results in conditions that are simpler than those obtained in earlier work
