Abstract :
As a popular technology for providing high-data- rate, efficient, and reliable wireless transaction. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been adopted in several wireless standards. However, due to the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), OFDM transmitters require very linear output amplifiers with wide dynamic range. In this paper, some important approaches focusing on PAPR reduction are discussed and an improved and effective method using coding in SLM algorithm is proposed. And simulation results show that our algorithm can gain better PAPR performance with lower complexity.
