Abstract
A method of controlling resonant converters based on optimal techniques and the study of the robustness is proposed. The method is more systematic than the previous one using classical methods, and the rules for changing the parameters to achieve the aims are clear. With this method it is easier to achieve better performances. The electronic implementation of this controller is easy, being based on several operational amplifiers. Although the proposed controller has been applied to a specific converter, the design can be easily generalized to any kind of resonant converter
