Abstract :
Location awareness becomes an essential capability of sensor nodes. In this paper, a novel range-free localization algorithm is proposed based on dividing circle, whose radius is equal to node communication range. By searching a certain area, the optimal dividing circle can be selected. The center of the optimal dividing circle is regarded as the position of the target node. The results of simulation show that our algorithm has increased the localization accuracy significantly, especially for the nodes at the edge of the network.
