Abstract :
We study multiple antenna systems that employ space-time modulation schemes and transmit data encoded by powerful channel codes. Decoders for such codes require probabilistic (soft) information about transmitted bits. We use a modification of the Fincke-Pohst algorithm to solve maximum a posteriori detection problem and efficiently approximate soft information. Simulation results that illustrate performance of the proposed system are presented.
