Abstract :
New control methods for DC-DC voltage and current converters are studied. A brief introduction to switching network graph theory, focusing on the duality concept, is given. Starting with the open switch voltage control method, which is the topological dual of the current-programming technique, a comparative study of switch control methods reported in the literature is presented. The basic principles, realization, and the resulting performance of the set of control methods and some topological applications to switching electrical networks are discussed. Relevant experiments implementing switch voltage control are presented
