Abstract :
We present a unified analysis of the exciting capability for a class of regulators involving deterministic internal impulse-type sequences. Different excitation properties (e.g. persistent, vanishing, switched) can be achieved, through such exciting sequences, in many situations (e.g. open-loop identification, adaptive control)
