Abstract :
This paper deals with the minimum mean square error estimation (MMSEE) of spatial channel model (SCM) in the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. In particular, we focus on MMSEE on the basis of maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). Since statistical information is the critical element of MMSEE, we derive the generation of coefficients of autocorrelation in SCM with different data rates. Utilizing Monte Carlo method, the prior channel information is gotten. Simulation results validate the accuracy of MMSEE over MLE in terms of mean square error, and better BER performance in three typical wireless environment of SCM.
