Abstract :
In this paper, we propose soft decision iterative Vertical Bell Laboratories Layered Space-Time (V-BLAST) with detection of all symbols at the last stage by changing detection order in hybrid space time block code (STBC). Hybrid STBC transmits both STBC symbols and spatial division multiplexing (SDM) symbols at a time. In hybrid STBC, the conventional V-BLAST can´t achieve good BER performance of STBC symbol, since it detects STBC symbol with large interference from other symbols. The proposed scheme detects all symbols with less interference from other symbols by changing detection order. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve BER performance compared with the conventional V-BLAST and iterative V-BLAST. Especially, BER performance of STBC symbol is improved.
