Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to re-examine the problem treated in our previous paper and complete the Wiener-Hopf analysis on the high-frequency diffraction by a perfectly conducting strip between two media based on rigorous asymptotics. In particular, we shall derive lateral wave contributions and uniform asymptotic expressions for the diffracted field, which are not known in the previous works related to the Wiener-Hopf technique
