  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the use of adaptive random search algorithms for global optimization in control systems analysis. The discussion is presented in the context of a real robust stability margin analysis problem. Numerical results are used to provide insight into the potential of these algorithms to impact control system analysis and design problems
