Abstract :
This paper presents the iterative prefiltering as the method for estimating the time delay between a pair of sensors for a sum of complex sinusoids in presence of noise, as well as the frequencies of the source signal and its amplitudes. A stochastic, discrete-time system model (pole-zero) is considered to model the system. The time delay, amplitude, and frequency estimates are to be related to the poles and residues of the modeled system. Performance evaluation via computer simulations is included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
