Abstract :
This paper attempt to achieve a more accuracy simulation of high speed cylindrical bearing cage´s dynamic performance. Considering the flexibility of cage, dynamic equations of cylindrical roller bearing in high speed in main-shaft of aero-engine was established using modified Craig-Bampton substructure mode synthesis method. Rigid-flexible dynamic simulation software of cylindrical roller bearing was developed based on the commercial software MSC. ADAMS. High speed cylindrical roller bearing simulations were carried out with different working condition, structure parameters, all the effect of these parameters were studied based on the simulation results. The results show that fatigue failure caused by vibration stress may occur at intersectional point of the cage bar and side bar. High-speed and lightly-load can result in large slip of cage, the change of inner ring speed has some more influence on slip ratio than that of outer ring. The cage pocket/guide clearance ratio can remarkably affect the bearing´s stability; the simulation results suggest that a small value should be selected. The slip ratio of flexi-blew cage is slightly larger than that of the rigid one, which accords with the experimental date better.
