Abstract :
Orthogonal waveform design is quite an important issue for waveform diversity systems. A chaos based method for orthogonal discrete frequency coding waveform (DFCW) design is proposed in this paper to overcome the insufficient orthogonal waveforms and their finite coding length. Correlation properties of the designed signals are analyzed. Premises for chaos choosing and frequency quantification method are discussed to obtain the best performances. Simulation results show the effectiveness of this design method.
