Abstract
Noise shaping, high-performance delta-sigma analog-to-digital conversion structures, and oversampling digital-to-digital converters are discussed. Oversampling data converters offer an attractive tradeoff where accurate and robust conversion can be achieved with inaccurate analog components at the cost of increased signal processing speed and digital circuit complexity. The authors give an overall qualitative description of the basic principles and some successful implementation of such converters
