Abstract
Power systems equipped with flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) devices, can be modelled, under some mild assumptions, as nonlinear systems affine in both control and parameters. The hierarchical intelligent control scheme is developed based on the trajectory-following policy and is combined with adaptive control to form real-time adaptive neural control. The relevant stability issues are studied
