Abstract :
Power quality issues often are related to the presence of harmonic and nonharmonic frequencies. The authors have developed a more efficient and accurate solution than traditional FFT (fast Fourier transform) approaches. The approach combines the strengths of the FFT, CZT (chirp Z transform), and DFT (discrete Fourier transform) in a composite algorithm called the “variable search method”
