The UMC conduct the company-wide business continuity management which is a strategy that supports the company in its efforts to: protect its ultimate growth; retain the market share; and provide the exemplary customer support. The site-specific program, supply chain management, operation /production information backup, and the production shift mechanism within UMC fabs, are considered.
