Abstract
We propose a novel non-coherent receiver based on narrowband frequency discrimination for detection of 40 Gb/s optical MSK signals achieving residual dispersion tolerance of up to plusmn340 ps/nm for 1 dB receiver sensitivity penalty at BER of 1e-9.
