Abstract :
The paper describes template synthesis of digital retina chips (DRCs) for information coding and decoding, especially for static images. The coding (C-) and decoding (D-) are done by halftoning and reconstructing respectively. The output u* of the D-DRC can be regenerated to recognize the almost same original input u of the C-DRC. In order to reduce the error between the original gray image u and the reconstructed gray image u*, multibit dynamics is proposed considering the minimization of distortion
