Abstract :
Open classroom teaching method refers to the guiding ideology of classroom teaching which is instructed by modern scientific achievements of system theory, information theory and cybernetics. It has widely absorbed the advantages of various specific teaching methods and creatively applied to modern classroom teaching process so as to meet the requirements of passing on knowledge to students, developing intelligence, inspiring creativity, promoting the overall development of students´ personality and adapting to the demands of modern quality education. Open classroom teaching method cultivates students´ creative thinking ability through the following ways: open classroom teaching method can provide favorable spiritual environment for the development of students´ creative thinking; underlining the development of functions of the right brain provides good physiological basis for the cultivation of creative thinking; stressing the training of the students´ creative thinking by the use of teaching contents.
