Abstract :
The construction of the magnetic encoder with a magnetoresistance sensor and a multi-pole magnetic drum is described. A rotatory magnetization system has been developed to magnetize the magnetic encoder. It is found that the sine-PWM magnetization is superior over the single-pulse magnetization when high resolution is needed
