Abstract :
We have developed a new design technique of a bandpass filter for cellular base station using ceramic cavity resonators. In conventional design, because of different expansion coefficients of materials and low mechanical strength of silver thick film electrode, stable fixing construction design of ceramic resonators has been very difficult. To solve this problem, we have proposed a new mechanical flexible ceramic holding structure and a design technique to optimize design parameters by three dimensional mechanical simulation. And we have succeeded in manufacturing a 900 MHz bandpass filter having shock resistant structure
