Abstract :
We analyze FBG sidelobe´s influence on Q- switched fiber laser pulses. It shows uniform FBG´s sidelobe introduces undesired multi-peaks pulses and decrease the output peak power. Therefore apodized FBG is preferred for FBG- based Q-switched fiber laser.
