Abstract :
Email is one of the most frequent communication mediums in real life. Simultaneously, virus propagation attaching to email has appeared, and caused a series of losses. However, the email virus propagation was effected by many factors. Therefore, a reliable model was considered as a challenging problem. By analyzing the ways and characters of email virus propagation, an improved propagation model, namely, Anti-virus and Trust level Healthy-Danger-Infected (ATHDI) model is proposed. Besides, a novel algorithm based on anti-virus ability and users´ trust level is presented. It compares the effect of important factors on infected individuals in different networks. The simulation experiments show that proposed model describes accurately the propagation of virus and the number of infected individuals is very low based on proposed model. Besides, this work provides a reliable method to restrain virus propagation by trust level among users.
