Abstract :
Some types of upper and lower bounds are given to the capacity of such channels. With the aid of certain operator inequalities it is proved that the feedback capacity Cf(P) and the nonfeedback capacity C0(P) satisfy C0(P)⩽Cf(P )⩽C0(P1), where P 1 is abstractly given, and C0(P )⩽Cf(P)⩽2C0 (P)
