Abstract
A novel space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm is proposed in this paper, which can improve the real-time response of servo control. Firstly, a unique coordinate system is set up, and then its corresponding modulation strategy suitable for the entire space vector plane is also presented. Compared to the conventional SVPWM method, the new algorithm can eliminate the process of the space sector identification and unify the expression of duty cycles. Some comparative experimental results between the conventional SVPWM technique and the novel scheme are given to demonstrate the merits of the proposed method.
