Abstract
This paper considers the design of compensator for systems with quantized input in order to reduce the influence of quantization. For systems with (vector) relative degree, we propose a kind of compensator which can compensate for the accumulated output deviation completely caused by quantization. The proposed compensator is capable of keeping the difference of the input-output responses between the system with quantized input and the original system without considering quantization within certain small bound. Simulations show that the proposed compensator can significantly improve the input-output response of systems with both input quantization and packet dropouts.
