Abstract
Simulation and optimization techniques have been increasingly used in decision-making process of terminal logistics systems management in recent years. By analyzing the current status and existing problems of logistics system in an iron and steel enterprise´s raw material terminal, a discrete event simulation model is built based on optimized measures with Arena software. Finally, the feasibility of simulation model and optimized measures are checked by verification and validation analysis, and further optimization programs are proposed. The simulation model has great significance to optimize inland port management and operation efficiency.
