  • Abstract
The present paper considers the problem of hazard in digital structures. The first stage to be achieved is a rigorous analysis of hazard in combinatorial logic circuits already existing, and whose physical implementation is well known. The analysis method suggested is developed on the scheme of the time constants method. The second stage consists of studies on the functioning of a finite automaton. The authors trace the output of the circuit only for transitions compatible with the state transition graph of the automaton. They design a variable duty factor ring oscillator that will use to the maximum the possibilities of the circuit without risks of hazardous functioning
