  • Abstract
    Recovering the missing objects energy efficiently in sensor networks have been widely discussed in recent years. Most of the existing methods simplified the recovering problem and assumed that the deployment region is a plane. In practical sensor networks, however, the deployment is not fully planar but consists of many small partitions. A new method is required to recover the missing objects in this kind of sensor networks. In this paper, we will propose a method that can apply the region-aware cyclic patterns to the improvement of flooding in OTSNs. Through empirical evaluation, our proposed method is shown to deliver excellent performance in terms of energy efficiency.
