Abstract :
Low frequency modulation is applied to transmitter lasers to lock them at the resonance of a Fabry-Perot interferometer, and an RF phase-locked loop is used for IF stabilization and elimination of the system performance degradation due to this modulation. The receiver sensitivities, measured out of the transmission link, were -48.5 and -49.1 dBm at a 10-9 bit error rate
