Abstract :
The paper presents an advanced network control scheme for a new satellite communication system called DYANET II (DYnamic channel Assigning and routing satellite aided digital NETworks II). DYANET II accommodates ISDN subscribers and carries overflow trunk traffic from terrestrial networks by satellite. New advanced network control technologies make it possible to establish satellite channels on a call-by-call basis ensuring single-hop connections for any type of connection in DYANET II
