Abstract
The numerical simulation of a reflection type amplitude modulator using the NRD guide to propagate carrier and modulated waves is presented. The FDTD technique is used to solve Maxwell´s equations while the forward time average differencing approach is applied to circuit equations. Both methods are coupled and the results have shown high quality double side band amplitude modulation
