  • Abstract
A synthesis method for the linear antenna array of radiators through a given amplitude directivity pattern which accounts for the mutual coupling is described. Mutual couplings of radiators are taken into account by the method of an induced electromotive force. The number of optimal solutions of the synthesis problem and its qualitative characteristics are investigated by the branching theory methods. The numerical algorithms solving this problem are based on the successive approximation method. This method of synthesis is generalized on the case of nonequidistant antenna arrays
