Abstract
In image processing of LDWS (Lane Departure Warning Systems), the useful image information is the lane part, but sometimes the road image don´t include lane, especially when the LDWS initialization. In steer process, as the lane-change often occur, the lane information may be computed by error, or lost in track lane process, consequently this process may be invalidation. How to handle these problems well, this document presents a method which establish ROI(i.e. Region Of Interest) in front of vehicle, and the ROF s position decide by vehicle´s position instead of lane as usual. Experimental results show that the proposed method is characterized by reliability and good robustness.
