Abstract
2.4 GHz band Zigbee system often works in an indoor environment with the characteristics of dense multipath. When a Zigbee network is formed, the MAI between terminals must be considered, however, the CSMA-CA protocol is employed to avoid the MAI. So both multipath model and MAI model which affected by CSMA-CA should be considered for channel modeling for Zigbee wireless communication system. The composite expression of this interference is given in this paper. It has large significance for evaluation of system performance particular in CLD because both PHY layer and MAC layer parameters are synthesized.
